Swapmeets (see video opposite) are like huge Scalextric fairs, car boot sales or indoor markets but only for slot cars. Retailers and individuals will set out tables in a large hall with a mind-boggling display of Scalextric and other makes of slot cars and accessories to buy, sell, and exchange. If you are looking for a particular type of car for your collection these are definitely worth a visit. You will also be able to pick up spare parts for older cars and reacquaint yourself with cars you may have owned as a child. Most swapmeets charge a small entry fee for non-members.

There are 3 types of swapmeet event:

1 NSCC Members only - the general public are not admitted to these events. At Swapmeets it is sometimes possible to join on the door.
2 NSCC Priority - the general public are welcome to attend, but are only admitted at a later time than NSCC members, usually after an hour or 90 minutes - see "MO" (members only) time listed.
3 Open to all.
